Responsive - Logo - Perfect Poetry

Upon choosing a typeface, the composition worked it self out. Creating a square logo works well for the Facebook page which is where at the minute has the most eyes on it.  From creating the type in the way looked good and legible, i still wanted to introduce colour and movement. I experimented with brushes on Illustrator until the logo looked good.

Colour was really important in this design. The company is fun and lighthearted and needs to be approachable, in terms that both gender will look to this for gift ideas. The colouring could not be gender specific so that men are interested in it too. That's why a seaside kind of blue was used a lot. The logo isn't girly or manly.

Final Logo

The misty white lines in the background are to suggest flowing and rhythm like a poem, the colour is aiming for both men and women and use of one 'P' is to tie the alliteration together.
