Study Task 02 - Folding Styles

I looked at a lot of websites and tutorials to try and learn some folds.

I looked at more basic designs rather than really grand ones.  I wanted to make this quite personal and do something I like the look of, rather than something that's really extravagant.

I wanted to make the fold show the way I work. I liked this turkish map fold because of its 3D affect and the way it pops out. I work quite similarly, I wont do much for a while and then explode with loads of ideas and work.

I looked at some basic folds, that i don't like. I think these are a bit boring and I could do something a bit more impressive.

I really like this fold because of it uses two pieces of paper. I really want to try and change my design process and I think this would be really affective. It would be easy to show the difference in design processes with the two sections.

I came across these neat little folds that hold information inside. I think they look good, but they're a bit secretive looking, which I have no need for.

We also put the best folds onto the crit box and voted which one was the best. My turkish fold went into it, but didn't win.
