Design Process, Final fold decision and first 2 pages design

I decided to go with two page fold because I want to show the two ways I work. The way i used to work and the way I want to work. Here, I'm trying to work out where to put text and how to put it.

Before putting any text on it, I asked a few people to number each panel as they read them, so when it's folded information will be in the legible way.

From there, I thought about how I used to design -  very simply with some colour. So on the first page thats what I did.

I tried a range of colours that I like, but also trying to use bright ones because I'm a bit afraid of colour. The pages will be block colour and bright because I want to use more colour in my work. Although the first two pages are about how I used to work, I'm still going to try and make it about this year.

I looked through font websites to try and find an old but modern looking typeface, because I really like old design. This font, Mouse Deco, works well because it is a bit art deco looking but an updated version. I put the black drop shadow to make it more visible.

I decided on these two colours because with teal I used to use it all the time and with the light blue, I wanted a negative type colour to show that's the past now.
