Studio Brief 2, What is a book? Double Page Spreads

I began with this layout, by creating the grid. I wanted to use a modular grid, because I'm most confident with using these at the moment. I created three columns and four rows so that I can put images in at decent sizes.

I used the information based on type from the book, 'Just my type', which was a really helpful and interesting resource.

I used Orator Std for the type, I think it is a good font to read and it keeps the page looking clean and clear, which I wanted to do because it's talking about complicated stuff.

I added the blue lines because I think these pages are quite text heavy, so I wanted to break it up a bit. These lines make it easier to read and separates information to keep the pages clear. I used blue because this tone relaxes the mind and reduces stress, so hopefully as the reader reads they are calm and not overwhelmed.

I still have to add some more information to a couple of the pages, but I want to use different sources or find some more images from books.
