Studio Brief Three, Design Process, Designs

I tried a couple of times to design things before actually being certain on them so it obivous it was oging to wrong if I wasnt 100% on them.

This was the design I brought to the crit and rwally didn't like. I didn't want to arrive to the crit empty handed so thought about the concept of being able to understand the content by the layout. If you squint your eyes the image boxes are in the shape of a tattoo machine. It was a rubbish idea and design all together.

This was an idea of trying to show the shape of the tattoo machine again but probably in a worse way. The font is awful completely wrong for who I'm trying to relate to. I quickly moved away from this idea.

Here I was trying to work out a way of getting the 20 words on the page in an interesting way. Although I quite like this idea I think it didn't match my idea of trying to keep things simple and not busy. It also left a lot of space for images that I wasn't sure I had.

This was the designs I made before I chose not to go with this idea. For the nautical stars there are 5 boxes for 5 points of a star, also 5 boxes for information. The anchor design is where ii actually wrote information out and I realised it didn't fit my design of having text one side and image on the other. The final image is for ships, I tried to link the layout with the ship but using the one column of text wit the mast of a ship.
