Studio Brief Three, Design Process, Final Design

These aren't actually the finals, these were like proto types of the final design. I still needed to take photos of the tattoos I was going to include, so I used photos of tattoos I had on my mac just see what the page would look like.

I've used the type BigNoodle from dafont.com, because I wanted a typeface to be able to read very easily and match the content of tattoos. I think because it is all uppercase it is easy to read and is loud but not aggressive on the page. On this page because it was opinions I wanted to in

clude actual ones I collected in my research. I also wanted to put in the graphs because it makes it easy to understand the statistics. I've matched the quotes to the graph background colour to tie them together and highlight the quotes and keep them separate from the stats.

In my research I realised there is a big debate and split in opinions on tattoos, which I wanted to highlight. So with my layout I chose to split the information.

On the left had page is the 'Pros' to tattoos, so positive thoughts, stats, words etc and on the right hand page is the 'Cons', the bad words and people's thought who don't agree with tattoos.

Actual Final Layouts.
